The site keeps things black and white. The events do not. I keep the chaos, the faces, and the moments that would otherwise disappear.

People first. Places second. The atmosphere around them always.
I photograph events where something is happening: "arraiais", parties, religious celebrations, protests, nightlife, and everyday places with people moving through them. The website is monochrome by choice; the work does not have to be.
